Swifts to kick off the season with a new sponsorship deal
Heybridge Swifts are delighted to announce a multi-year sponsorship deal with local firm CML Microsystems Plc (“CML” or “CML Group”). The London Stock Exchange listed business that designs, develops and supplies mixed-signal, RF and Microwave semiconductors for global communications markets had been in discussions with the club for several months to agree how they can best be involved with the club to support the Swifts and more importantly the local community.
The agreed sponsorship deal with CML will see our home and away kit sporting the CML Micro logo as the club’s main sponsor.
Swifts Head of Sponsorship Tim Bruce commented;
‘Firstly, I’d like to thank CML who have been a pleasure to work with in reaching an agreement that I have no doubts will be the start of a great relationship between CML and Heybridge Swifts. On behalf of the Swifts committee, I would like to thank both Nigel Clark (CML Group Executive Chairman) and Chris Gurry (CML Group Managing Director) for their full support and backing of this exciting multi-year relationship. I’d also like to thank Jessica Hickman (CML Marketing & Communications Officer) for working with us to ensure the CML Micro branding takes pride of place on the front of both our home and away kits, around our stadium and across our digital & print platforms.
CML’s company values are closely aligned with Heybridge Swifts and both company and club are focused on the continued support and development of the local community, with the Swifts boasting twenty-three youth teams this season (from the ages of 5 through to 21) providing football for over 300 local children we hope that the CML Micro brand becomes synonymous with the club for many years to come and beyond our current agreement, who knows we might have CML employees of the future within our youth ranks.’
