As the dust settles after European Microwave Week 2023, we here at CML Micro have been reflecting on a very rewarding week in Berlin meeting with customers, partners and the European Microwave community.
The energy at The Messe Berlin was superb, with many key applications and technologies being represented by a vast mix of stakeholders from industry to academia.
It was great to discuss what is driving innovation and focus within key frequency bands as this will guide our future product development efforts and help keep us focussed on what our customers need to solve their RF design problems.

The newly designed CML stand attracted many visitors curious to learn more about out new products offerings in the RF and mmWave market. It was wonderful to meet with customers new and “old” to discuss RF design challenges and product requirements to meet to ever-increasing demands for more bandwidth, higher data rates, more secure communications and robust and resilient supply chains. To top off the week I took on the challenge to run the Berlin Marathon which I absolutely loved. We will be back with more product innovations and fresh legs at EuMW 2024 in Paris.”

European Microwave Week 2023 in pictures:
Day 0 – Set-Up
The team arrives in Berlin to set up the CML Micro stand.
Day 1 – Show kick-off
With reinforcements arriving from our UK office, the show starts with a bang as we engage with visitors about our three key product stories.
It was also a great opportunity to introduce Thomas Eichhorst, Vice President of Sales- EMEA, in his first European show outing for CML Micro. Thomas is a native of Berlin and was therefore keen to impress in his hometown.
Day 1 finishes with a show debrief with some our partners (and a sampling of some local delicacies).
Day 2 – The Show Continues
The show continues with more visitors to the CML Stand curious about our product stories.
Day 3 – Final Day
Screens off, the day finishes with a tired but happy CML Micro team.
Our EuMW 23 story (in case you missed it)
We showcased our refreshed stand and branding for the first time in Europe, with 3 key CML Micro product stories:
SµRF
We exhibited our RFIC and MMIC product family, ‘SµRF’, using GaAs and GaN process technology with some key products for Satellite and 5G Infrastructure.
High Power Microwave
We showcased a range of high-power microwave products including MMICs, Discrete Devices, and Hybrid Amplifier Products
Critical Communications
We also showed some classic CML Micro products with a wide range of signalling and data processing for digital communication systems, as well as our recently launched and innovative Digital Radio Mondiale module.
