CML was extremely keen to exhibit at IMS 2021, it being the first opportunity to engage with its customers and partners at a live event after more than 15 months of virtual meetings. Whilst the number of attendants was expectedly lower than previous years, with over 200 companies exhibiting and 1,500 people attending, CML was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of interactions.
The exhibition was the perfect forum at which to introduce CML’s new SµRF product line of high frequency, high bandwidth ICs targeting RF and mmWave, supporting emerging markets such as 5G, Satellite and IoT.
CML was delighted to see a buzz of interest for the new products, with CML’s USA Team greatly enjoying the opportunity to respond to queries about the new range.
With Covid-19 contact restrictions still in place, CML used visual displays such as mounted evaluation boards and monitor screens which delivered technical product information on the SµRF range, as well as a video demonstration of spur avoidance and phase noise performance for the popular CMX940 High Performance Synthesizer.

Overall, the show was a successful platform for introducing the SµRF product line and it was great to meet with people face to face after so long. CML are already planning for next year’s show and the UK team look forward to exhibiting at IMS 2022 with our US colleagues.
Summing up, IMS 2021 was a highly successful show for CML, giving us the opportunity to talk about recent developments, our future plans with the SµRF product range, and to once more engage with the semiconductor community in person. We are very much looking forward to IMS 2022. We are confident that we’ll have even more exciting news to share!
